One of my Christmas project will be "Gentle Encounter" by Stoney Creek. I'm thinking about using a silkweaver fabric called Winter Breeze. Here is a picture to give you an idea what it will look like.

I thought maybe this fabric can give the background of this pattern a snowy scene with it. Then I'm not sure if a sparkly white fabric would be better. What do you think?

white would be too "empty". I think it would be better with your lovely fabric !

I'm not good at fabric picking, but I do love the pattern. It looks like it would look good to me!

Thats a very pretty design, I think that fabric would be very suitable.

I think it's very pretty - just check that the snow towards the top will be noticeable by doing a floss toss.

Not sure which background fabric would be best -- Stoney Creek patterns are such a challenge!! Should be smashing when completed.

I think it's a great choice of fabric, as I'm afraid the snow wouldn't show very well on a plain white one. This is a great design, the one that deserves a happy dance when completed!
